The Walks Inside Rome team
Welcome to Rome and to the Center of Roman Life. Campus Martius or Campo Marzio was once known as the marching grounds for the Roman Legions, today it is the marching grounds for consumer spending and luxury apartments. In between all these Barocco Apartment buildings and store fronts, you will find those famous squares that are shown in so many Italian movies; such as The Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna), Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona.
The Dolce Vita Piazza Walk is a great way to be introduced to the Eternal City, plus it allows you to get orientated to the liveliness of the city before one goes on their own to discover the many wonders this city hides among it's ancient streets. Our guides will not only explain the stories and legends behind these famous squares you will be visiting, but they can explain the "Do's and Don'ts" of Roman Culture. Making it easier for you to become accustomed to this wonderful city.
What better way to start your Vacanze Romane, by letting one of our guides give you an orientation tour of the famous squares throughout the Campus Martius. Even though this tour can be given at all times of the day, we would recommend doing this walking tour in the late afternoon. This tour would be perfect for those who are just arriving into Rome and would like to get into the spirit of Roman Life. We can even end this tour at a quaint cafe bar, where you and your companion or family can enjoy your first Aperitivo (Alcohlic and Non-Alcohlic drinks with snacks before dinner).
Benvenuti a Roma!
