Traveling in Rome with children
11 June 2015
Rome is full of lively activities for the whole family! One of our favorite child friendly sites is the Explora Museum, where you can learn and have fun at the same time!
Children can sometimes get restless when presented with so much information and history, which Rome is full of, so this is a nice break to keep your children active while exploring new and interesting subjects. There is a large pool where kids and adults alike can experiment and play with a water vortex and even magnetic dams! Children can then move on to learn about cooking and the meaning of “conscious consumption” and discover that the earth’s future depends on food. At Explora you will even learn about Bionics which is a scientific discipline that studies natural structures and processes which can be used in technical field to obtain new solutions.
You will soon discover that Rome is much more than history and delicious food. We encourage you to not only learn about Rome’s past through our Gladiators and Emperors tour for Kids or our Treasure Hunt at the Vatican but to even explore the new science and technologies that are being taught around the world. This will give your children a global awareness that they will take with them for the rest of their lives.
This museum is located right off of Piazza del Popolo, close to the center of Rome. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about this museum take a look at their website: https://www.mdbr.it/en/
