The Walks Inside Rome team
When in Rome, do as Romans do and learn how to make fresh pasta and homemade tiramisù from scratch. With this private class, you will make fresh pasta and tiramisù with secret recipes straight from “nonna”, an affectionate Italian term grandmother.
A truly unique experience, you will learn to create fresh pasta with your favorite flavors, top with a choice from our selection of Italian cheeses, and enjoy! Determined by the season, your homemade pasta will be made from only the freshest ingredients from the farmer’s market. With many options to choose from, just think vibrant pumpkin tortellini in the autumn, light coils of fettucine dressed with eggplant in the summer, or succulent ravioli dumplings stuffed with “ricotta di pecora” any time of year.
Held in a 17th Century Palazzo near Piazza Navona, this private cooking class is led by our enthusiastic English-speaking chef. Perfect for kids and adults, locals and visitors, our class is designed for anyone with a passion for delicious food, having fun, and learning something new.
You will complete this cooking experience by making Italy’s most highly adored dessert, tiramisù. Layered with all things delicious…cream, coffee, sugar, and cocoa, it’s no wonder that tiramisù is so well loved throughout Italy.
A fantastic way to spend the day in Rome…create a gourmet meal in a beautiful air-conditioned palace. With this family-friendly cooking class, you will be welcomed with a prosecco toast and local specialties such as Italian charcuterie, steaming suppli oozing with mozzarella, and melon wrapped in “Prosciutto di Parma”. Buon Appetito!
